The Crestabond range of structural adhesives is based on innovative methacrylate chemistry. The unique benefit offered by the Crestabond range is it is primer-less with none or only minimal surface cleaning of the substrates to be bonded, this saves both production time and assembly costs. The Crestabond range is ideal for the marine market from kayaks to super yachts.
Crystic Crestomer structural adhesives are based on Scott Bader's innovative urethane acrylate technology and they exhibit exceptional impact strength, flexibility and toughness.
Available with a range of curing Schedules
Crestomer adhesives are available with a range of curing schedules to suit a variety of applications.
Crestomer adhesives have the proven ability to work effectively for a range of bond thicknesses, from thin bond-lines of 1mm, to gap-fill bond-lines of 25 mm.
So whether bonding small fixings or large applications such as decks to hulls or stringer sets, the Crestomer range has products to meet your bonding requirements.
A Record of Achievement – Improved peel and crack resistance
The Crystic Crestomer pedigree was established over 25 years ago. The first commercial application for Crystic Crestomer adhesive was in the manufacture of mine hunters. The unique properties of Crystic Crestomer ensured peel and crack resistance was significantly improved.
Crystic Crestomer is the only successful material specifically designed to meet this demanding application. For less demanding applications, Scott Bader also manufactures the bonding paste range to complement the Crestomer range. The Crystic Bonding Paste range includes a variety of features to suit all applications.
