Crystic® Decorative Casting Resin 919PA
Crystic 919PA is a pre-accelerated, orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It has a low viscosity, allowing for it to accept the maximum level of filler particles and aid pumping of filled mixes. This is a decorative resin, designed for use in small castings, although it is also suitable for large castings if required.
Intricate and detailed castings can be formed with Crystic 919PA, and thanks to its excellent painting and staining properties once finished, it is perfect for small collectables and figurines. The resin is suitable for both hand mixing and mechanical processes and can achieve any required filler loadings.
Crystic 919PA decorative resin is designed for curing at temperatures of at least 15°C and needs only the addition of a catalyst for the curing process to begin. It is suitable for use with pigment pastes, should a certain colour finish be needed.
