Our volunteering scheme
Our volunteering scheme enables all Scott Bader colleagues to take an additional one day’s paid leave to use to volunteer for a not for profit/charitable organisation. We encourage all colleagues across the Group to use their volunteering day each year.
- Volunteering gives colleagues the opportunity to contribute to and to connect with their local community.
- Volunteering provides self-fulfilment and is personally rewarding.
- Volunteering can teach new skills, or build on existing ones to the benefit of others.
- Volunteering is a great way to meet new people
Colleagues have participated in a large range of volunteering activities; from clearing hospital gardens and painting at schools through to working with young people and helping out at a centre for people experiencing homelessness.
