Finnish Composites Distributor Terpol OY Appointed by Scott Bader
The Finnish composites distributor Terpol OY has recently signed a distributor agreement with Scott Bader to supply their range of Crystic® products nationally throughout Finland. Their appointment is seen by Scott Bader as an excellent fit with its product range offering and technical approach, particularly for the leisure marine sector, which is still a significant part of the Finnish composites market, as well as to service the growing demand for high performance closed mould and pultrusion resins in the transportation and building market sectors in Finland.
Terpol OY, located in the coastal city of Turku in the south of Finland, 150km west of Helsinki, is a technically focused specialist composites distributor, established for over 30 years. With his strong technical background in composites, the owner, Mr Matti Souminen provides practical handling and application advice for the range of resins, gelcoats, reinforcements and ancillary products that they stock and sell. Terpol OY has a 600 sq.m warehouse, including catalyst storage facilities, from which they supply regular customers on a call off basis as part of their inventory supply chain management and delivery service.
This service is vital, especially to smaller FRP converters based in the less accessible parts of Finland, looking for a reliable, cost effective supplier of laminating resins and other composite raw materials.
