Our Constitution states "Scott Bader has been founded on the belief that a socially responsible undertaking cannot exist merely in its own interests. It is part of the whole national and international community and, as such, it has responsibilities which extend far beyond the factory walls." It is for each generation to interpret these responsibilities in its own way, according to prevailing circumstances and changing needs.

Working as we do within a mutually supportive working community, we believe we, as individuals, also have a responsibility to participate in our own local communities to serve those most in need - some examples of the involvement of our people are as follows:

		Employees support a Fun Fair opened to for special needs children				Local children enjoying the use of the swimming pool at the Head Office of Scott Bader
				Volunteers help a local community project to transform a run down building to a multi purpose community asset to help regenerate and bring employment opportunities to the estate.
