Texicryl® 17-0376 was engineered with a tailored balance of hydrophobic styrene and hydrophilic acrylic monomers, this advanced binder system offers excellent adhesion to a variety of metal substrates, including ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces, providing a robust foundation for long-term corrosion protection. The modified polymer structure enhances key performance attributes such as early water resistance, film integrity, and barrier properties, which are critical for effective corrosion inhibition in aggressive environments.

A styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion

Texicryl® 17-0376 has been specifically designed for the formulation of low VOC waterbased anticorrosive primers which provide excellent salt spray (to ASTM B117), humidity and prohesion resistance on clean metal substrates. Correctly formulated primers based on Texicryl® 17-0376 show good mechanical properties along with improved UV and heat resistance in comparison to those based on halogen containing polymers

Texicryl 17-0376 can be stored in the containers in which it is supplied. Protect from temperatures below 40°F
