Amongst Feargus Quinn’s products are vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz E Class and Vauxhall/Opel Insignia, with 3 and 5 door versions, as well as an E Class limousine.

For each hearse, a GRP body shell is manufactured as well as rear doors, tailgates and interior panels using Scott Bader’s Crystic resin 474PA. The limousine roof panels and doors are also manufactured from 474PA. Exterior panels are finished with Crystic gelcoat 65PA to protect them from weathering and provide a high gloss finish. Crestabond M1-60HV is used to bond the GRP components together.

"Technician applying Scott Bader gelcoats to automotive door panel in spray booth, showcasing precision composite application" [G]
We had previously outsourced our GRP work and had issues with dependable quality, with some of the early panels having warping and disfigurement issues over time. We decided to bring the work in-house, and we wanted the best products to use to ensure that these problems never arose again. Our research into the market all pointed at Scott Bader being the best there is, and since then, it has proven to be 100% accurate. The products are second to none for quality. They do exactly as they say on the data sheet, and once we worked with the technical team to identify the best products for our needs, we haven’t looked back. We find everyone a pleasure to deal with. Scott Bader are really proactive in keeping a good relationship, with excellent communication and a commitment to making sure we have everything necessary build the best vehicles that we can.
