InnoTrans 2026

22 September 2026

Location: BerlinGermany
Event Type: Exhibition

Overview

Scott Bader will be exhibiting at InnoTrans 2026, the world's leading trade fair for transport technology, taking place from 22 to 25 September 2026 at Messe Berlin.

Find us in Hall 8.2, Stand 265, where our technical team will be showing the composite and structural bonding systems that help rail manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and infrastructure specifiers build lighter, safer and longer lasting rail vehicles and rail structures.

Held every two years across all 42 halls of the Berlin exhibition grounds, InnoTrans brings together the people who design, build, specify and maintain the world's rail vehicles and public transport networks. For four days it becomes the single most useful place in the industry to compare materials, test assumptions and talk directly to the people who make them.

Our stand is staffed by the technical specialists who support customers day to day. Whether you are working to a fire, smoke and toxicity specification, a weight reduction target, a bonding challenge across dissimilar substrates or a production bottleneck, you can review the detail face to face with engineers who solve these problems continually. Where a solution needs proving, we will talk you through it from trial to testing, and the technical support available to take it to specification.

Why Attend

InnoTrans attracts close to 3,000 exhibitors and more than 170,000 trade visitors from over 130 countries, across five segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. Whether you specify materials, engineer assemblies or manage a supply chain, four reasons to make time for Hall 8.2.

  • Talk directly to Scott Bader. No gatekeepers. Our technical team will be on the stand throughout, ready to review your application, discuss trials and advise on the right system for the job.

  • World-class chemistry, proven in rail. See the systems already specified by leading bus and rail manufacturers, including fire retardant resins, gelcoats, FST systems and structural adhesives.

  • Rigorous product development. Ask us how our materials are developed and tested against EN45545-2 and other international standards, and what that means for your certification programme.

  • Quality you can rely on. Consistency of supply and batch-to-batch consistency matter as much as data sheet performance. We manufacture globally and support locally, so you get the same product and the same standard of service wherever you build.

What We Are Showcasing

Visit Hall 8.2, Stand 265 to explore:

  • Crestafire FST systems. Fire, smoke and toxicity compliant resins and gelcoats engineered to meet EN45545-2 HL2 and HL3, combining passenger safety with structural performance and an excellent surface finish.

  • Sustainable composite rail flooring, developed with Armacell. A bio-based Crestafire and ArmaPET panel system that is significantly lighter than traditional plywood flooring, considerably more durable, and HL3 compliant. Come and see it in person.

  • Crestabond structural adhesives. Primerless MMA adhesives that bond dissimilar metals and plastics with minimal surface preparation, offering an alternative to welding and mechanical fixings, with working times to suit your production process.

  • Crestamould tooling systems. Durable, dimensionally stable moulds for repeatable, high-quality parts, supported by our closed mould expertise.

  • Systems for rail infrastructure. The same FST resins, gelcoats and pultrusion technologies are used in GRP components for stations, platforms and trackside structures, compliant with BS8414 and EN13501. Ask us about your application.

  • Global technical support. Trials, on-site support, process optimisation and colour matching. The service around the product is as important as the product itself.

See It In Practice

Two projects worth reading before you visit, both on the stand agenda in Hall 8.2.

  • A sustainable composite flooring solution for rail, developed with Armacell. A bio-based Crestafire resin system combined with recycled PET core, engineered as a lighter, more durable alternative to plywood flooring, and compliant with EN45545-2 HL3. Come and see the panel for yourself.
