Scott Bader Australia have chosen to use their charitable allocation for 2023 by supporting Zero2Hero. Their vision is to empower young people to positively manage their own mental health and wellbeing and support others, along with a mission to provide programs that educate, engage and empower young people to support and maintain their own mental health and prevent suicide in the community.
The grant has enabled colleagues to participate in the Cape2Cape trek, helping to raise money towards supporting Zero2Hero’s mental health schools programs and leadership camps that empower young people to be mental health heroes in their communities.
Participants will trek 135 kilometres along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, between the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in the southwest region of Western Australia, walking around 25-35km each day.
Overall the team raised just over $65,000 for such an incredible cause.
Scott Bader Commonwealth is proud to be able to share the deserving causes chosen by one of our global offices, as a part of our charitable giving initiative. Each year, a minimum of 5% of Scott Bader’s operating profit is given to the Commonwealth to be donated to charitable activities and projects around the world.
