Fly fishing skiff manufactured using Crestapol® resin and Crestafix® bonding paste

Migration Boatworks infuse Scott Bader’s Crestapol 1260 with carbon fibre to create the hull for their skiffs. Crestapol 1260 is a urethane acrylate resin that creates high strength, lightweight parts with excellent water resistance. They use Crestafix 621CC bonding paste for laminating and bonding various parts together. Crestafix 90-84 is used as a filler to create strakes in the hull mould. Scott Bader’s Crestafix series includes polyester, vinyl ester and hybrid bonding pastes that are widely used in marine applications around the world.

Migration Boatworks wanted to use the most technologically advanced marine materials on the market whilst benefitting from excellent customer support and technical advice.

Scott Bader products have proven to be reliable, free from failure and easy to use. They have allowed us to create a perfect skiff for salt water fishing. We have received exceptional support from their sales team who have excellent technical knowledge of Scott Bader products and composites in general.
