Scott Bader’s Lands’ End to John O’Groats cycle team raises over £20,000 for KGH and The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance!
This summer, the Scott Bader LEJOG team cycled the gruelling 1000 miles from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in 8 days raising an amazing £21,640 for Kettering General Hospital and The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) – two charities the team hold close to their hearts.
At the end of September the team had the pleasure of presenting £10,820 to Kettering General Hospital, and at the end of October it was the turn of The WNAA to receive a £10,820 donation.
Team member, Dave Toyer, has first-hand experience of the valuable work the air ambulance do as he had them to thank after they air lifted his father to hospital following a motorbike accident.
Well done to the Scott Bader UK cycling team on raising so much money for their chosen charities. We look forward to learning what challenge they decide to take on next!
