Crestamould® B12
Crestamould® B12R Sealer is a MEKP catalysed, brushable slightly thixotropic sealer designed to coat expanded and extruded polystyrene foams. This sealer acts as a chemical bridge and barrier between the polystyrene foam and either a laminate or a machinable polyester-based tooling paste such as Crestamould T27/T28. Its main use is for sealing of polystyrene foam blanks used in 5-axis plug and pattern work. It can also be used for architectural and arts applications when it is desirable to use a polyester over the polystyrene foam, replacing traditional latex and epoxy coatings. It is not to be used as a laminating resin.
