Texicryl 13-220

Texicryl 13-220 is a self-crosslinking acrylic copolymer emulsion, designed for pigment printing on rotary and flat screen systems. Part of our Texicryl range of binders and thickeners for the textiles and furnishings industry, this acrylic dispersion provides a characteristic soft, flexible film after curing, with good resistance to washing on printed textiles.

The adhesion of Texicryl 13-220 is excellent on the majority of substrates, however it is particularly recommended for the manufacture of non-woven and flocking adhesives, through pulverisation, full bath or foaming. Once cured, ideally with the addition of a catalyst, Texicryl 13-220 has good flexibility, even at low temperatures.

This copolymer emulsion has a viscosity of 150mPa s, a pH of 4.5, and a particle size of 240nm. It has a non-detectable formaldehyde level determined by ISO 14184-1 2011 standards of safety.

Texicryl 13-220 should be stored in its original, unopened container until immediately prior to use, kept at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. It is supplied in drums and IBCs, making it suitable for applications of all sizes. Get in touch or download our data sheet for more information.
