Coronavirus (Covid-19) update

Firstly, in the current situation we wish you good health and safety.

In response to the Coronavirus situation, Scott Bader is utilising its business continuity planning resources to ensure that the delivery of our products and services are reliable and minimally impacted by the current situation.

There is currently no disruption to our production plants and day-to-day plant operations.

Customer Service, Technical Service, Sales and Marketing operations are working as normal.

There is no major impact on Raw Material supply so far, however we do see some delays in shipments due to transport issues.

In some instances, we have longer lead times than normal. Therefore, please contact your respective sales representative to align current lead times for your new orders.

Our business continuity plans provide for various measures across our global organisation ranging from behavioural recommendations with regard to protection against infection to organisational measures, such as postponing events, creating home teleworking positions, drafting rules on substitutes and reducing operations to core functions.

The focus of all measures is to safeguard the health of our employees and business partners. At the same time, we are working hard to ensure that our sites will be able to continue operating in the current situation as far as possible.

As an employee owned organisation, we have fantastic support from our colleagues in this time of unprecedented events to help one another and to continue to keep our customers fully supplied for as long as possible.


The current situation is very dynamic. Therefore, it is important that we maintain close contact at this time – to not only deal with current orders but also to understand the likely impact of this situation on your business in the coming months. Your updated forecast will help us to plan contingency measures.

Scott Bader is refraining from all travel at the moment. Your sales contact can discuss this further with you.
