Global Charity Fund The Scott Bader Global Charity Fund aims to annually provide grants to charitable organisations around the world whose purposes support our charitable objects e.g. to help young or disadvantaged people, especially anyone suffering deprivation and discrimination, such as poor, homeless and vulnerable women and children, minority communities, particularly where people are affected by: poverty, a lack of education, malnutrition and disease.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING OF PROJECTS OVERSEAS from CHARITIES THAT ARE REGISTERED IN THE UK , unless they are already known to us , due to previous funding from the local funds available to the companies in the Scott Bader Group located outside of the UK .
Our Global Charity Fund is divided as follows:
Local Funds - Applications accepted all year Funds are made available to all the companies in the Scott Bader Group (proportionate to the number of people employed at each location) for them to submit applications to the Charity Trustees for charities they wish to support. Usually this will be to support the work of charities situated near to or associated with each company i.e. in Northamptonshire in the UK, Co. Meath in Eire, Amiens in France, Falkenberg in Sweden, Barcelona in Spain, Liberec in the Czech Republic, Zagreb in Croatia, Dubai, Cape Town in South Africa, Ohio in the USA or Shanghai in China.
Central Fund The central fund annually supports two large, community based, environmental or educational projects to the value of £25,000 each. These can be located anywhere in the world. If you have an education or environmental project that benefits young or disadvantaged people or a particular community project that you would like us to consider, please download and read the attached document.
