We have been using Crystic® chemical grade resins to make glass reinforced components for the transfer and containment of chemicals for over 60 years. We have a reputation for quality products that offer long-term resistance to demanding materials.
Crystic® resins are used to manufacture a wide range of GRP products and components which will safely contain everything from acids to alkalis, fuels to foodstuffs and water to wine.
Please download our Chemical Containment brochure which summarises our product range for the chemical containment market.
Composite GRP structures offer many benefits over alternative materials used for chemical containment applications. Some of the many benefits of our composite products are:
- lightweight − simplifying handling and installation whilst reducing costs
- never needs repainting
- easy to clean using a high pressure hose.
Automated processes such as filament winding can be used to enable the cost-effective manufacture of consistent, high quality composite pipes that are lightweight, have a high strength-to-weight ratio and are not limited by the temperature and pressure limitations of thermoplastic systems.
Our Crystic® resins are also used for pipe relining. The ‘cure in place’ structural lining process offers a cost-effective solution for repairing damaged pipes without the need to dig them up. The process is joint-free, leak proof and fast, bringing many benefits for local communities.
